The Snooper Evolution speed camera detector (now discontinued) uses GPS and laser technology to alert you to speed camera locations. The Snooper Evolution includes a UK and European database of speed camera locations. This Snooper device features an LED text display and it will also display the speed limit at every speed camera location so you will never not know the speed limit. Snooper Evolution Explained

Using the latest GPS technology the Snooper Evolution features the Enigma European database of speed cameras that will locate all types of fixed Speed Cameras.

Mount the Snooper Evolution in a suitable position on the dashboard or windscreen and connect it using the cigarette lighter adaptor.

The Snooper Evolution speed camera detector includes Auto-Ranging alerts. The Auto-Ranging feature is used so that you no longer have to set the detection range as the Snooper Evolution automatically calculates the distance required depending on the speed limit.

The maximum alert range is 1000 metres with voice alerts providing the type of camera and speed limit.

The Snooper Evolution also feature smart mute whereby audible alerts only sound when above the speed limit.


Snooper Evolution alternative purchases

Please note the Snooper Evolution is no longer available, the Pogo Alert and RoadPilot MicroGO (compared below) are both no longer available. The Pogo Alert has been superceded by the Pogo Alert+ model.

RoadPilot MicroGo like the Snooper Evolution is a purely GPS based speed camera detector. Relying simply on the internal updateable speed camera database to provide all alerts to the driver.

The RoadPilot MicroGo also provides alerts to speed cameras in the UK and Western Europe, whilst the Snooper Evolution provides alerts to UK only.

The RoadPilot MicroGo features a 6 month free subscription to the RoadPilot speed camera database and is then £49.95 a year thereafter.
