Turning on M1 speed cameras permanently could help bolster a cash-strapped force's coffers, Olly Martins, police and crime commissioner has said.
"Strict enforcement of the speed limit could raise £1m and to me that's better than losing 25 more police officers," Mr Martins said. Read more.
The Casualty Reduction Partnership uses Safety cameras on the counties roads combining fixed cameras, mobile cameras and red-light cameras.
