Installation of the LT445 control circuit board and the LT420 basic transponder

Mounting the LT420 basic transponder

The LT420 basic transponder is mounted in the sameway as the LT400 vehicle transponder. It's recommend that you ensure that the transponder is mounted at a location where it can detect the arriving vehicle. Avoid mounting it behind walls, fences, bushes or other obstacles.

It is also recommended that you mount the LT420 at the same height or as near to it as possible as the LT400 on your car, van, etc or LT400M on your motorbike. This is especially important to guarantee the communication between the vehicle transponder and basic transponder.

The LT445 control circuit board can be connected to a garage door or gate differently depending on the brand and type of door or gate. Please refer to the garage or gate system manufacturers instruction manual for further details.
