Speed Camera Details: The Avon and Somerset "SafeCam" Police partnership are still monitoring these roadwork's using mobile LTI Laser Cameras from inside the back of a white Ford Galaxy, and have been witnessed positioned a little after the Gatso camera. The Galaxy parks on the carriageway that is being maintained close to the central reservation crash barrier and, being white, is difficult to distinguish especially with white roadwork's vans in the vicinity. It parks nose onto the oncoming traffic and is taking pictures out of the rear open door, targetting the rear number plates of traffic. Perhaps this is why my Laser Detector sited on my car dash does not alarm!
