Speed Camera Details: SpeedCurb camera located at bottom of Saltford Hill when driving towards Bath. Fairly steep 30mph hill on leaving the village, the camera is located just a hundred yards before the limit changes up to 60mph. Lots of people see the 60 sign and get caught out by speeding up too early.

This speed camera has been recently switched on, February 2015. The speed cameras in Avon and Somerset were switched off in 2011. This is the first of 29 static speed cameras due to become operational "over the coming months", a spokesman for the Avon and Somerset force said.
