Speed Camera:
Gatso
Nearest Town/Village: Witney
Road Name: B4022 - Oxford Hill
Direction of enforcement: Both directions
Speed Limit: 30mph
Camera reference number: SEO060
Speed Camera Details: Travelling westbound from Oxford leave the A40 Witney Bypass at the first Witney sign (B4022). On entering the 30mph limit there is a new set of traffic lights at a crossroads. Just beyond the traffic lights is a speed camera situated on an island in the middle of the road. This is periodically turned by the police to monitor speeds going up the hill. A little pointless now traffic lights are there. Watch your speed coming down the hill into the town though. Camera in position but no lines painted in road!!!
